Cow Tongue | US $6.00
Placed on a bed of onions, and served with a slice of lemon, the cow tongue definitely comes flying at your table with a distinct odor. Even after sitting at the table for a few minutes, some of my friends weren't even able to find out the source of the odor. However, the tongues are quite good. This is my first experience eating cow tongues, and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. It's a bit rubbery in texture and is definitely chewy. The tongue has a huge peppery taste, and in my opinion, is better eaten without the lemon slice. It taste like peppery beef, well, at least it does taste like beef after it has been chewed on for a bit.
