Facing fear, no.19
University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Honolulu.
Fear of being in an enclosed space. -- Claustrophobia (from Latin claustrum "a shut in place" and Greek φόβος, phóbos, "fear") is the fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms (source: Wikipedia).
I've been at least mildly claustrophobic since early adulthood. Never really noticed it when I was younger, but maybe that's because as a kid I never had much opportunity to be in enclosed situations.
Old, dark elevators creep me out and give me sweaty palms.
