Twin Reefs 4

Taken yesterday at mid-high tide at Twin Reefs Cape Patterson (near Inverloch in Vic Aus).

The rocky outcrop on the western end of the beach creates small waterfalls once the waves begin to breach the rock shelf.

Every few minutes a larger set of waves would crash over the shelf, resulting in nice white foam to "paint" the scene. Suffice to say on @ 3-4 occassions it was a case of hold the tripod, suck it up and get wet - I wasn't going to lose the shot for the sake of wet boots and jeans - water was freezing though!

Anyway, hope the results are worth it. Next pic will more clearly demonstrate the little water falls.
