We went to Pei Wei for dinner. First time there. It was pretty good. I guess it's a fast food version of PF Changs. I brought this cookie home with me. After this shot, I broke the cookie open and the fortune read: "An hour with one friend is worth more than ten with strangers." Also, one of my lucky numbers was 13 and this is shot 13 of 365. Cool.

Strobist Info: Vivitar camera right shot through a macro box (see setup shot below). Fired with Cactus V4 and set at normal zoom and 1/16th power. Bounced off white posterboard perpendicular to the vivitar and one at 45 degrees to get some light bounced to the front of the cookie. The box was pivoted at about 45 degrees so I could make sure the fortune inside the cookie was adequately lit to read the word strangers.

Macro Info: 100mm f/2.8 lens with a +2x magnification filter.

Camera Info: 100mm | 1/250 | f16 | ISO 200
