Amble Pier Sea Fret
This isn't actually a B&W conversion, there just wasn't any colour to be seen...the rest of the country was bathed in sunshine and we woke up to a thick fog.
Makes for atmospheric photos at least.
For anyone who doesn't know the term, a sea fret is a peculiar kind of fog caused by warm summer air hitting the very cold North Sea. It can be boiling hot a mile inland and shrouded in fog on the coast.
I think they have the same problem in San Francisco so we're in good company!
