London Heathrow Airport - 1956
The Ministry of Civil Aviation published a 'glossy' booklet in 1956 to mark the first stage in the permanent buildings that were to make the 'modern' Heathrow. These buildings are now being redeveloped - shame in a way as Gibberd was a well-known architect. However they've been very altered and became very crowded.
