Odhams Quick Spanish course on 33rpm records - c1960

A box with its two 7inch 33 rpm records to give you a crash course in Spanish - dating I suspect from the 1960s when package hoildays and trip to the Costas took off here in the UK, giving many people their first taste of foreign holidays. Mr & Mrs Britain - he with pipe firmly clenched between his teeth are on the balcony, giving the guitar player and the flamenco dancer a seemingly wide berth - perhaps the course proved too much and so they feel more secure being too far away to converse! I love the use of the castanets on the graphics! Odhams were a huge, London based publisher and printers whose original base stood on Long Acre. I suspect 30/- (30 Shillings/£1/10s - £1.50 in decimal) was quite a price at the time.
