Einladung zur Bugra-Messe, Leipzig : from Deutscher Buch - und Steindrucker, Februar 1925
A wonderful 'invitation slip' tipped in to the Deutscher Buch - und Steindrucker, Febuar 1925 issue. It refers to the famous Leipzig Fair and makes mention of the Bugra-Messe that I'm sure was the Bugra-Messehaus, the building that held the exhibits relating to book production and graphic design. The design is splendid with marvellous lettering and the almost 'griffin' figure whose head is crowned by the fair's "MM" symbol that was designed by Erich Gruner in 1917. The designer is shown as "Baus".
