• I understand your point, but still I would have gone with this cropping. Anyway, this is one of the nicest photo I have seen in a long time. - StuderV

I really like the similar colors on the image. The idea of showing the shoe and leaves are great. In my opinion you could have made a bit closer shot, to see these beautiful macarons better.

I like the contrast between the perfect and focused macarons and the rest of the image that is soft and a bit shabby. You expect the macarons of this level of detail to be held with high heels and nail polish. It is an endearing picture.

This is so cute! I'd love to get a bite of one of those, they look so good!

    Thanks, my friends!

Vera - I see your point and did play with cropping before I settled on this. Any closer crop took away from the framing of the boots (which I wanted to keep a bit toward the left side) and made the photo look a bit plain.

Laksmi - I'm glad you like the "shabby" look. I can't say that I can take credit for what that lovely girl was wearing, but I did notice that particular mood of the photo and tried to maintain it in my processing :).

So girly... and such a brilliant photo! I really like tones and perfect focus. And no words to comment macarons! Just one: superlative.

Loving the different shades of pink here. At first even I'd thought of a tighter crop, but the more I look at it, the more I like it as is.

LOVE IT!! the shades are beautiful and i think i like it not close to the macarons.

I literally said, "ahhhhh!!! So cute!!" out-loud when I saw the thumbnail. lol
Great focus on the macarons and I adore the colors. I love all of the leaves in the framing. I've been peppermint crazy lately, but mainly just with my coffee. =D
