Belka and Strelka

The stuffed pioneer Russian space dogs that flew into space together in August 19, 1960 as part of the Soviet space program. They were the second and third dogs in space, several years after Laika although Laika didn't live on her return to earth whereas Belka and Strelka lived full, happy lives after returning to Earth. They are on display at the Cosmonaut Memorial Museum in Moscow.
