Brunnich's Guillemot, Spitzbergen

About 100,000 pairs of Brunnich's Guillemots (Uria lomvia) nest on the cliffs at Alkefjellet in Spitzbergen, although only half are there at any one time as one flies off to collect Polar Cod, while the other incubates the egg or broods the chick. These are real high Arctic birds rarely straying south. I don't think I have ever seen a photograph of any Guillemot taken in flight directly from below.
