Flying Guillemot

I cannot believe how well this came out as the Guillemot was flying at full pelt and I was on a moving boat at the time. We were on the catamaran Serenity II sailing around Brownsman Island (one of the Farne Islands) and the Guillemots were flying past giving lots of photo-opportunities. Guillemots squeeze onto tiny ledges on cliffs all around the Farnes. They don't build a nest but lay their single elongated egg straight onto the rock.
