    Taken with a 31.75cm (12.5") RCOS Ritchey Chretien telescope working at F9 and a SBIG STL6303E CCD camera.

    This is a LRGB exposure with Luminance=140m, Red=Green=70m and Blue=80m

      Congrats on your APOTY Highly Commended Steve! I am glad the judges saw the due merit clearly displayed in this image, they could have easily overlooked it for the more "spectacular" images.

      Thanks Mike and Brendan. I guess that one of the things that may have impressed the judges is the faintness of this planetary. It's only magnitude 12.6 and almost invisible visually unless you use an O III filter (at least to my imperfect eyes).
