Something time-consuming this way comes...

My monochromatic, improvised Lush blocks are finished! I've been working on these since the spring, I think, with the hopes of having a pretty autumn quilt made for myself. I sometimes took very, very long breaks in between making them; it takes me about an hour to finish one block, and I find the process pretty draining. (Just imagine how much effort must have gone into this Project Special Delivery quilt!)

But hey, they're done and assembled into rows! Don't know when I'll actually get this one finished, but I just wanted to share some photos. I'm trying to manage my "deadlines" because the quilt for my dad will be due in about two weeks. (The backing fabric is en route.) It just never ends, does it?
