In 1976 there were no cell phones and most cyclists kept in touch with those at home through letter writing and pay phones. This late evening call took place in a parking lot somewhere in Missouri.

This is me and I remember when Dan Burden took it. B76 was a fantastic experience and we all made some great friends. I'd love to catch up with anybody else who rode the same schedule. I left Missoula 6/8 and arrived in Williamsburg 8/8. The hurricane kept us out of Yorktown that day. jamesterry@aol.com
