Fall Beauty of Chester County

A scenic landscape photograph of a rural two lane road as it winds through the breathtaking autumn countryside of southeastern Pennsylvania, with its rolling hills, pastoral farmland and field crops, and colorful fall foliage. This photograph was taken mid morning on an October day in Nottingham, PA right on the border of the state and the towns of Elkton and Rising Sun, Maryland. The area is Amish country and is known for its fertile red clay soil (which you can see at the edges of the road and deposited on the asphalt by the tractors that often travel it), and country scenes like this are everywhere. And this is why *sometimes* even I don't miss my hometown on Long Island, NY. For more info or to see this image in full resolution visit
