      Professor Bentley... did you get a chance to put the stone with the big dark green crystals under the microscope? Any update for your Geoblog on it?

      Also, about mid-way down on the left of this page (link below) is a rock with the same features as the one you hold above. I have a close-up next to it showing glassy crystal. I am thinking alkalic igneous. Not sure what crystals would rust out in that manner, only, now I am on the hunt. I have been thinking what else I am missing out there as the glassy crystal did not jump out at me until I saw your photo then look at mine. Any follow-up information on yours?
