Trinity College Blue and Gold Gala April 26, 2012
Trinity College leadership donors and volunteers enjoyed a festive Blue and Gold evening at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Thursday, April 26, 2012, celebrating the many accomplishments of Trinity’s historic Cornerstone and Legacy Campaigns. The gala event included a cocktail reception in the Cullman Hall of the Universe and dinner served under the giant whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, and also featured:

-Entertainment by Trinity’s Samba Ensemble and also by Rachel Burke ’14 and Kristina Smithy ’14, who demonstrated their “Nug” dance, which won Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night Dance Challenge

·A panel discussion moderated by Juliet Izon ’07, Reporter for Life & Style Weekly, with panelists Paul Raether, Chair of Trinity’s Board of Trustees; President James F. Jones, Jr.; and Cheryl Greenberg, Raether Distinguished Professor of History

·The debut of the “Trinity for Life” video ( ), in which students, faculty, alumni, and Campaign leaders talk about the impact donors and volunteers are making through the six-year Cornerstone and Legacy Campaigns, which run through June 30, 2012.
