The perennial pothole that lives just after the lights on the Tyne Bridge heading east (A6093) has taken a sudden turn for the worse. After recent snow and ice it's deeper and strewn with large lumps of jagged tarmac. Anyone driving should take particular care as it's now bad enough to give your tyres a beating.
