-- ##WHAT CAUSED THIS?## see photo back a few (UNEDITED #)
5.23.2012 At the end of a sunny afternoon, I decided to go out before rain might come.... fortunately there was basically no wind.
THE FIRST ONE I DID SHOWED THIS PURPLISH-GRAY ON THE "RIPENED" CENTER OF THE FLOWER.... WHAT SHED IT? I'M SURE IT'S ANOTHER FLOWER -- BUT WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ONE IN THE KNOW?
Look at the accumulation of the purplish-grey that once DECKED THE FLOWER CENTER!!!
There were several poppies out from which to choose.... so I got them popping out, "ripe" and a demise this far..... I'm not sure if this was from insect activity or the wind?
