Barn Owl In Flight Browns Farm Road Palm Beach County
This photo was taken in Western Palm Beach which has some of the highest concentrations of Barn Owls in North America. The University of Florida has set up a program to place Barn Owl Boxes around the Farmers fields instead of using poisons to kill rodents!! A single Barn Owl will eat several thousand rats and mice a year.
Thank you Dave and Tom for your friendship and helping me find these Owls to photograph !! As a side note, this is not captive bird ........
PROGRAM NOTE: If anyone is in the area, Kevan & I will be giving a Nature program tonight for the Broward Shell Club. No charge and plenty of parking.
