St Nicholas Church, Leicester

A church was established here c.880. It incorporates much Roman masonry and brickwork. The most obvious surviving Saxon features are two small windows in the north wall of the nave, made from re-used Roman tile. The church is Grade I listed and is part of a Scheduled Monument (along with the baths).
