St. Joseph's College, Kolkata, India

On 24 October ,2009, students of St. Joseph's College ( in collaboration

with Sanctuary Asia) held a 'Walk for 350' on the streets of Central

Kolkata to spread the message of reducing Carbon-Dioxide emissions to below

350 and thus saving the planet earth.

 

This was one of over 5,200 events happening around the world as part of the 350.org International Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2009. More information at 350.org.
