2000 Students from Massey High School in Waitakere City, Aotearoa New Zealand assemble on their field to show their support for 350.

 

This was one of over 5,200 events happening around the world as part of the 350.org International Day of Climate Action on October 24, 2009. More information at 350.org.

 

In the preceeding months, students held a 350 Expo with information about climate change and 'TravelWise', handed out 350 Badges to students that made pledges for personal action, and also planted 350 trees.

From the 'MHS 350'- the school then formed a big '3' to join up with the '5' and '0' from other continents.
