Middle East Restaurant won awards for best restaurant for three consecutive years. In some particular category. The awards were hanging on a wall which was to far away for me to read them clearly. Those years were 1978, 1979 and 1980.
The lamb was good. The grilled vegetables were also good. There are a couple other items on the menu that I'm curious about so I'll be back at least once or twice.
