I shot this over the Aspetuck Reservoir in Easton. This is a 52 minute exposure. I took14- 4 minute exposures using the Vello Intervalometer and combined the photos in photoshop.
I was out in a field in pure darkness shooting this when I heard a grunt near me. I shined a flashlight around and didn't see anything. A minute later the grunt was louder and closer. This time my flashlight picked up a large Buck with huge antlers and he was stamping his hooves staring at at me. That was not a good sign. Lucky enough I shined the light in his face and spooked him off. I was more worried about bears, which have been sighted nearby.
