Dancing on a Sunny day!

Better view Here!

We went outside our city for small vacation my gf and I. So on our last day, we decided to take some picture near the Fleuve St-Laurent . The sun was high in the sky and really bright. It was my first attempt to take a picture with my umbrella during the day light. I had some trouble with my settings because... I was blowing out my gf or the background. I’m happy that you can fix almost everything in lightroom :)!

What I’ve learnt/Don’t like with this picture :

~ Don’t Watch out if you shoot at noon with a really bright sun (unless you have a setup like that)

~ The eyes are small and almost close because… see above It isn't that bad finally :P Yah I was too hard on myself

~ Buy sandbags… It was a windy day and my umbrella/tripod/flash flew away few times….

~ Strobist info ~

D80 /w 18-135mm ~ 26mm ~ 1/250 ~ f/11.0 ~ ISO 200

SB-24 ~ 24mm ~ 1/4m or 1/2m… can’t remember… I’ll check that tonight.

shoot-through umbrella 4 feet away on right

Critics are always welcome as I want to improve my technique :)
