Kolmanskop Sunrise

Sunrise at Kolmanskop, Namibia.

Kolmanskop is a century old abandoned diamond mining settlement surrounded by the Namib desert. After being established by German settlers in the early 1900's, the town was abandoned in the 1950's as the diamond supply depleted. What's left is a series of dilapidated buildings slowly being reclaimed by the ruthless desert, creating surreal sights like this one.
