It will be all white Project 365(2) Day 103
I’m sorry that this is probably the least exciting picture so far in this year’s 365. My excuses are: I have been busy and I can’t get to my DSLR camera at the moment.
When we first moved into the house, it was all beautifully clean. Our neighbours told us that the cleaners had been in twice and spent several days making sure that everything was perfect for our arrival. They did a superb job.
Now though, the bedroom which I use as a study) and the lounge are looking grimy. It is probably because those are the two rooms where I smoke my pipe particularly the study where I smoke the most.
I have almost finished painting the garden walls (just one small section by the shed left), it is time to start on the inside. First off I’m painting the study and then later the lounge. There are only the ceilings in the kitchen and bathrooms to paint because the walls in those rooms are fully tiled.
As with all decorating tasks, preparation is the worst part. Moving all the furniture round to get to the walls in a small room is no mean task. Once the space is clear, painting the walls with a roller and a pole is a breeze. The moulding on the ceiling is a bit of a pain but such a nice feature that I won’t complain.
