Red-rumped Swallow (Hirundo daurica) Golondria Dáurica

A migrant species that summers in southern Europe with Portugal and Spain holding the bulk of the population. Builds a domed nest of mud with a tunnel entrance in the roofs of caves, under bridges, cliff overhangs etc. Has turned up in Ireland in recent years as a vagrant (in Spring mainly)
