Chocolate & Pink Celebration Platter

Newer Older

These are for a Chocolate & Pink Celebration event in Ellijay, Georgia celebrating life of breast cancer survivors and those going through the battle. One of the hostesses is my cousin Stephanie, a breast cancer survivor. This unusual pink ribbon combo came from hearing about their pink and brown color scheme and polka dot table cloths and wanting to make the event fun! I thought 70 solid pink ribbon cookies might get boring - so I hope haven't offended anyone by breaking with tradition!! Andover Cookie Mama - this one's for YOU!!!!!!!!!

They are just wonderful!! The pink ribbon to me signifies "girl power" raising awareness and money for research in hopes of sparing our daughters the pain of this illness in their adult lives.

These are just beautiful! I love your added patterns to the traditional plain pink ribbons. I think you have to embrace your wild side a bit sometimes as women, especially if you're fighting something- like cancer. Love the sanding sugar details too!
