    Fine colours and good exposure in, what I would think would be, challenging conditions. The beach is a little cluttered and I would, ideally, seek to have a little more space on the right-hand side. Sadly, birds tend to ignore photographers' instructions. Score 7/10 (from the Score Me!

    I tried to get these birds to cooperate. They wouldn't have anything to do with me. I did not get violent since I was outnumbered.

    This is a very cool shot, its tough to get birds in motion, esp. so many of them at once. The blue gradient of the sky works great here.

    this is truly superb. I like the effect of the stones on the beach. Too bad you couldn't get all of the dark bird in the far left. Is that a crescent moon I see?
