Henry and the Nightlife

"Some days I think I'm the one person outta fifty million in this city who isn't addicted to chems. I guess if I spiked all the time I could be open 24/7, but I think I like sleep too much for that.

If I go anywhere it's up to 4th level for drinks. Sometimes, and I mean, rarely, I go downstairs to the club. The sailors hit that place most nights, and sometimes my suppliers bring me there, or somewhere like it, for a drink.

I'll admit I've had one too many before and handed my credit chip over to the matron down there. A guy gets lonely, it's true, but I feel lonelier in the morning when I'm broke.

Really, I don't blame the addicts. Escape routes are everywhere in the city. At the bottom of every pill bottle, wine glass, or bank account. The escapes just trap you even worse though."

A few slices of life from the Cyber City display from Brickworld 2013. Look for it again at BrickFair Virginia in August.
