Blue Rug Juniper from the front

I bought this Blue Rug Juniper at Stop & Shop last May. It was scrunched horizontally into a 2-gallon pot (hence the great curves), and I replanted it as an upright with the help of the Greater Hartford Bonsai Society.

This May, I shaped it and wired it (again with help from the Great Hartford Bonsai Society), and now I'm trying to learn to effectively manage the foliage. It lost about 2/3 of it's folidage, but no roots, so it's growing well, especially after the move to our new apartment where it gets much more sun.

I plant to reduce the roots this fall, and cut the training pot to about half the current depth. By next spring, I hope to have an appropriate pot for it (probably a medium-depth earthy oval) so I can work the roots and make it a real bonsai.
