Haughley grain silo demolition (1)

A landmark disappearing from Suffolk. Built as a regional emergency grain supply store during the Korean crisis and looming Cold War, it was situated in a rural location near the railway. Used as an animal feeds warehouse it is seen here being demolished in autumn 2008.

The pictures are numbered in the order they were taken on the day I passed by on a walk. I had no idea the demolition was taking place.
