FT-1 + 50mm Kia

    Newer Older

    Nikon 1 V1
    FT-1 + 50mm ƒ/1.4G @ ƒ/1.4
    SB-N5
    Aperture Priority
    400 ISO @ 1/60th sec

I got my sample of the FT-1 and I had to give it a try! I took the family out to a quick dinner and grabbed this shot of my oldest daughter along the way.

The outdoor mall we walked through was lit up for Christmas. It made getting a cool background pretty easy.

    I can't wait to give it a serious tryout. I am thinking 200mm ƒ/2 or my 200-400mm ƒ/4 next...

Now if we can just get a 30mm ƒ1.8 prime so we don't have to use an adapter :-P

Cool! So 50mm is like 50x2.7 = 114mm! Fast telephoto!

How is the AF speed with the adapter?

Nice photo and bokeh. I wonder if the concatenation of the bokeh circles changes at varying apertures.

How has the other lenses performed when you attach them to the Nikon 1 with the FT-1? Do you get the same performance as on a DSLR or are some features disabled?
