Dickie Peterson (1946 - 2009)
Dickie Peterson from Blue Cheer and me in Cologne Germany in 1998. I got a chance to meet with him over the course of a couple of days. I met up with Dickie (and Paul) in London after a concert again a couple of years later and he remembered me. Blue Cheer was a big influence on a lot of us baby boomers and on rock and roll in general, far beyond the actual credit they received. Dickie died on October 12, 2009 in Germany. He was a self-described lifetime rock 'n' roller. RIP Picture courtesy of his wife Ilka.
