Jazzy Side Notes
After seeing all the beautiful scarves entered ino this Me, MY Scarf and I contest I got inspired to make another scarf for the contest
I call the scarf "Jazzy Side NOtes".This scarf represents the musical side of my personality. When I am not creating I am playing my keyboard.
The Black furry side of the scarf was knit on a circular loom.
The silk on the other side is from a blue dress I wore to my best friend's Wedding long ago.
I cut a length of Blue double the width of the furry side. I seed the song strip into a tube and turned it right side out and put the seam down the middle and on the underside of the strip. Then I sewed all around the blue strip.
At even intervals I hand gathered across then stitched beads over the gathers. The fringes on the ends are paper beads-hand cut and rolled just for this scarf.
The Beads on the scarf represent all the colorful music notes that come my way as creativity that I play on the keyboard of life.
The Black jurry is the mysterous side of me. The Blue is the musical part and the beaded fringe is the creativity in my life.
I now present Me, MY SCarf and I.
