Smile to the window light

a self-portrait selected from 2006 archive. The shot was taken in the lab of my dental shool at West Virginia University. Window lighting was my main source of natural light. I had the best quality of sunlight when I standed infront of a window on that day. For serious photographers, natural lighting is not predictible as strobe light. So many of them prefer to deal with the flash light, it gives controlled intensity and direction. But in some cases, sun light provides dramatic touches on the scenes more than if flashes used. Even if we use cheap lenses, we might get stunning results if appropriate conditions are avaiable.
