Chimp Does Hamlet

    Newer Older

Feel free to use this image.
Inspired by Casey Carlin's recent photos taken at Chester Zoo but thwarted in my attempts to get there I dug out this old image from my last visit a few years ago.
Men much wiser than I propose that an infinite number of monkeys (yes I know Chimps are primates) would eventually type out Shakespeare's most famous play in it's entirety. That may be so but here's one who wasn't hanging about waiting for his cousins to pass him the manuscript hot off the typewriter.
The rest is silence as they say (in Hamlet Act V, scene II)

Casey Carlin, Steffen Jakob, and 21 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Hi GwennieP - Glad you like it. I've been messing around with High Pass in the Filters menu on Photoshop. It helps give a sharper image but on the down side makes the photo look grainier than you may want.

LOL Love it! Looks good with the old high pass treatment. Can't wait to get a copy of CS4........

Funny, I've immediately thought it was more like Mark Anthony from Julius Caesar

Just used "Chimp Does Hamlet" on my blog. The photo actually gave me the motivation to write the post so thanks for both the photo AND the motivation. Here's the link: Thoughts and fears about dying (and living!) (I hope the attribution is correct . . . still learning how to do this)
