Is there new construction slated to begin January 23, 2013 at or near the Cook Family Cemetery? - Caddo Parish abt. 2213 Freewater Street, Shreveport, LA - First recorded by LA DEPT OF ARCHAEOLOGY 2010 - Cemetery circa 1883 --- James Cook bought two acres from Charles Allemand in section 5, township 17, range 13, Caddo Parish 1890 --- James Cook received 10 acres of land as his inheritance from his father, Thomas Cook. This land is the NE ¼ of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of section 5, township 17, Range 13, Caddo Parish 1892 --- James Cook bought one acre of land from George Cole in the NE corner of Lot 9, Cook’s subdivision, which was in the NW ¼ of Section 5, Township 17, Range 13.
