Beachy Head Lighthouse

After successfully managing to avoid dropping any more L series lenses into the English Channel, I arrived at Beachy Head Lighthouse, having negotiated treacherous, slippery rocks all the way from Cow Gap. Beachy Head lies directly under a flight path originating from Gatwick Airport in West Sussex. The aircraft contrails provided a stellar backdrop to this wonderful location. The lighthouse could do with repainting. Trinity House regard painting Beachy Head Lighthouse as superfluous; if volunteers raise £45,000, it will be repainted.
