    Using a ND grad filter for the scene of Castle Hill was easy, because they lying snow brightened up the landscape by a couple of stops. Although daytime raised temperatures just above freezing, allowing the snow to partially melt, conditions became bitterly cold once the sun went down.

      I like it! Simple and effective composition. I wasn't too far away from you at the end of the day. I managed to get over to Woodingdean and was shooting north up towards Stump Bottom.

      Lovely sky. I seem to have a thing for pretty clouds... That's why I was disappointed when you removed one of the previous posts because the cloud formation was so cool on it..

      I think I know which one you mean. I was just experimenting with uploading various pictures in order to judge the best three to have on my front page at once. I'll upload it again shortly.
