Claverhouse 2009
WASPS/Dumfries & Galloway Spring Fling Residency in Claverhouse, Kirkcudbright High Street 2009.
The result of a two week residency, work was installed throughout the ground and first floors of a dwelling turned council offices (environmental health and probation) to mark its planned transformation to WASPS artist's studios.
The work drew on Kirkcudbright's early maritime history (John Paul Jones in particular) and the town's later popularity as a source of creative inspiration for Scottish artists (notably the Glasgow Boys and Jessie M King).
