Yellow-Vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus goiavier)
This is a fairly common bird in gardens and parks even in metropolitan areas. It is almost impossible NOT to see these birds. Their success is said to be due to their wide ranging diet - they are fond of berries, they sip nectar, and snack on insects. Took this while it was perched on the sapodilla tree in my backyard in Malinao, Aklan, the Philippines.
