Wayne State University VEX Robotics Tournament

Members of Wayne State's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) chapter volunteered at the Wayne State University VEX Robotics Tournament, held Jan. 12 in the Student Center. The tournament was a qualifying event for the 2012-2013 VEX Robotics Competition World Championship, at which middle and high school students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, aim to build the most innovative robots possible and work together to obtain the most points possible. Through their participation in the VEX Robotics Competition and their work within their team, students learn academic and life skills.
