Down the Rabbit Hole
The original idea for this image was to explore the feelings of confusion that we may experience when questioning who we are as a person and why we are here. Waking up and realising who we are can be a destructive, crazy, bewildering time where nothing appears quite as it seems. Things appear distant, strange and foreign which at one stage may have been all that we knew. This may be beliefs, people or things. We are often left frightened, running around in chaos, looking for landmarks of who we were and searching for a way out. After a time when the dust settles, we may start to understand that perhaps this crazy, strange place is the world itself.
1 x SB700 was used here, at camera left. It was fired at 1/1 power, in a softbox. I also had a silver reflector being used on the right of frame, to light from that side.
