Beekeeping in Frydek, Texas 1906221136

The beekeeper had invited me to Frydek to see and photograph her apiary and to learn more about beekeeping, bees, and the community nearby.

 

When I got there, she'd been called to remove a swarm of bees on a driveway in nearby Sealy, so we packed up and headed that way.

 

When we returned to her apiary, she prepared and introduced the new bees into a hive while I took pictures, while wearing a beekeeper outfit, since the bees were being a bit defensive.
