Windy A'Bay sunset

The trade winds were blowing up something fierce during our workshop. We were supposed to head up to Mauna Kea to try some night photography, but with sustained winds of 30 mph and gusts up to 70 mph, we decided to head over to the Kona side of the island for some sunset shooting.

We didn't get any fabulous cloud cover, but the distant marine layer did hold back the brightness of the sun for this nicely defined disk.

The rest of this month is crazy busy for me...will visit when I can! In the meantime, have a great rest of your week.
