Upper Antelope Color

    Newer Older

Once the sun gets high enough, the light bouncing off the sandstone walls creates the most wonderful color. While the sunbeams are definitely a show stopper, these reds and purples are fantastic in their own right.

I'd like to go back, but probably not to Upper Antelope. Too many people! hee hee...I had to crop this one a little...you could see someone's leg at the bottom, and somehow I managed to include my husband's lens!

Fantastic shot! I agree about the colors of the rock! They "rock" all by themselves!

The colors are indeed wonderful. I really like how the shapes and patterns create an abstract look.

      I still don't believe you.
Here's my theory; This photo was shot on Mars and that's why you make such out-of-this-world good photographs ;)

I have heard that the only thing more impressive than the beauty of Upper Antelope is the number of Nikons and Canons! In any case, I'm glad that you braved the crowds, because this series has been lovely.
